“Thank you for the info about Sakonnet and Newport; was visiting from Mundaka and was assured by local lobsterboiz that the SE direction of hurricane swells would provide monumental waves.....the cliffs from beyond the harbor everyday had some waves at some submerged reef all the way to a wildlife refuge in Tiverton...some people stared when we carried boards across their green lawns only to dive off cliffs. Church Ledge had 2 days of real 6'+ Mundaka! Elbow Ledge had crew of locals who would cut off people trying to paddle in. Asshole's from University of Road Island and Nahant? I also tried Narragansett beer and 'steamers'.....Sh*t a hole right thru my 3mm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
