Cobden Breakwater Surf Photo: 'Grey River Stoppers' by Rob Davies

The waves inside the river slowed to strange 2m+ standing wave as they came up against the strong flow down the Grey river a day after heavy rain. Either side of the breakwaters, the surf was excellent quality, both at Blaketown and Cobden.
