Cabarita on the North Coast is an exposed point break that usually has waves. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the west southwest. “Has been taken over by Surfing Australia and surf coaches. The pass at Byron or Snapper is probably less crowded and safer these days.”
