Bullies in South Australia - East Coast is a fairly exposed beach and reef break that has quite reliable surf and can work at any time of the year. The best wind direction is from the north northwest and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell direction is from the south southwest. No beach break here together with both left and right hand reef breaks offshore. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Take care of the strong rips here.
