“Avoca point is a waste of time full of kooks and the waves are garbage, same with the whole central coast always onshore and small. Plenty of agro in the water to. I did not feel one bit welcome anywhere on the central coast.
My car was stolen while I was surfing and all my things taken. They found my car outside the local methadone clinic
and the police did nothing.”

“Your off ya head. Avoca beach is a waste of time, don't bother! Surfs flat, it's already tooooo over crowded... The locals are animals and will rip ya heads off! Do yourself a favor, stay safe and go find somewhere else!”

“I think the quality rating is highly inaccurate. I am a local and Avoca Beach is probably the best beach on the central coast for experienced surfers. It's definitely a lot better than Wambral or Terrigal because it is never too small and there is always a great wave! I think the beach rating should be 4 out of five stars.”
