Table - best surf conditions forecast for Pringle Bay over the next 16 days.

G'day, Rusty here. Let's get into what's brewing for Pringle Bay over the next couple of weeks.

It's a bit of a slow start, to be honest. The first few days are pretty quiet with small, clean waves that won't get the heart racing. The real action, the kind that gets me stoked, starts building from around Wednesday the 15th, and then we've got a run of serious, solid groundswell that's worth waiting for.

So, let's kick things off. Sunday the 12th is a write-off; the swell is there but it's marginal, and the cross-off wind just doesn't do it any favors. You're better off staying in bed. Monday the 13th is a glassy little number, but at only 3ft, it's a longboarder's special. The water temperature is sitting at 59°, which is about average for this time of year, so nothing to worry about on that front.

The first real standout, and the one I'd be circling, is Friday the 17th. We've got a solid 10ft of SSW groundswell, and the wind is off-shore from the SE at 16 mph. That's a crisp, clean combo for a beach and point set-up like this. The wave energy is pumping at 1983 (moderate to strong), and with that period around 11 seconds, you're getting proper groundswell power. It's going to be a hefty size, so this is for the experienced crew only. The morning session is the pick, with those off-shore conditions making it glassy.

Then, hold onto your board, because Tuesday the 21st and Wednesday the 22nd are looking absolutely massive. Tuesday afternoon sees a 12ft SSW swell with a clean off-shore ESE breeze at 12 mph. The energy is through the roof at 5151 (strong). But the real gem is Wednesday the 22nd morning. We've got a 12ft SW groundswell, and the wind is dead glassy, NNE at 3 mph. You can't get it cleaner than that. The period is a long 14 seconds, which will mean long, powerful lines and big gaps between sets. For a break that's a mix of beach and point, the point will be your best friend here to handle that long period. This is absolute top-tier, expert-level surf.

The swell hangs around, but by Thursday the 23rd, a screaming 31 mph on-shore wind from the NNW will turn it into a total mess. Don't even think about it. It clears again by Friday the 24th with a solid 10ft SW groundswell and off-shore winds, but the best of the run is definitely the 26th. Sunday the 26th morning is a beast: 16ft of SW groundswell, gentle off-shore winds from the SSE at 9 mph, and an energy reading of 8185 (very strong). That's a proper big-wave day for the experts.

The swell backs off a touch into the following week, but Monday the 27th still offers very good, clean waves at 7ft with off-shore winds. It's a solid finish to the period.

So, to sum it up: the first few days are small and quiet. The main event is the big, clean groundswell from the 17th through to the 26th, with Friday the 17th and Wednesday the 22nd being the absolute standouts for quality. Be aware that crowds are *sometimes* a thing here, so on the best days, you might have some company. And for the love of all that's holy, if you're not a seasoned surfer, stay out of the water from the 17th onwards – those waves are for the hardcore lads and lasses.

Rusty.
