Te Araroa Surf Photo: 'From Tokata' by Rob Davies

A vast beach, best at either end or around the river in the middle. Usually swell running, but this close to East Cape means the wind is on it more often than not. The vast beach makes it look smaller than it really is. This day had well overhead sets and out the back meant paddling about 500m from the shore.
