Visitor reviews of Voodoo surf break
(NOTE: Reviews may be edited by our content team for the purposes of ensuring accurate and relevant information)
“Contrary to map info Voodoo is located on South side of Kurnell Peninsula in Sydney's Sutherland Shire. The main wave is a left reef located 500 metres South of Potters Point. Best around half tide or low tide when small. On higher tides the left isn't as hollow, though a shorter fun right breaks from the peak.
Closer to the car park at Potters Point is a shallow and challenging right named Suck Rock.
All these breaks are reef with access to and from the water via paddling through rip channels.
On big swells exit can be tricky, and mis-timing can result in the unfortunate surfer being washed down in front of the rocks to Boat Harbour or the Mays Reefs.
[Editor - thanks. We'll update the location]”
