Tremone Strand in Donegal is a fairly exposed beach break that has dependable surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the south and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the north. The beach break provides left and right handers. Surfable at all stages of the tide. Crowds are never a problem here. Submerged rocks are a hazard.
