Phil Osopher from Australia
“A goofy's paradise, Thommoes can provide the ride of your life. It has probably the weirdest side/back wash of any break I have surfed, as the waves rebound off almost vertical rocks and hit the oncoming waves on a strange angle, creating some interesting and unpredictable sections. Can be long and wally, and works very well in nor-easterly swells with no wind or light westerly. Timing the paddle out is important. Love this place, but respect the locals.”
