Ter Heijde on the West Coast is an exposed beach/Jetty break that has pretty consitent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Offshore winds are from the east. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the northwest. Waves at the beach are both lefts and rights. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Take care of the strong rips here.
