Sonho in Sao Paulo is an exposed beach break that has reasonably consistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Ideal winds are from the north northwest with some shelter here from east winds. Groundswells are more common than windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southeast. Waves at the beach break both left and right. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded. Dangerous rips are a hazard of surfing here.
