“The forbidden wave.

Two Groins form the basis for one of Georgia’s best waves. The north rock groin is about 1500 feet (500m), somewhat T shaped. It provides protection from north winds that bring decent size surf. A Left works off the north rocks that works in two stages the outside fun leading to a fast inside section. About midpoint between the north and south jetty a Right works up. Use caution on North Easters as the southern rock can cause a rip into them. South of the smaller jetty the waves are workable with more of a beach effect.

Access is strictly limited. (Think The Ranch in California) This wave is very good, of all the waves in the state this one is at the top.”
