Rauls Surf Guide

Rauls in Baja Norte is an exposed reef break that has consistent surf. Autumn and winter are the best times of year for waves. Offshore winds are from the northeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the west. Left and better right hand reef breaks.. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It very rarely gets crowded here. Hazards include urchins, rocks and private access.

“This is a very mellow spot, great for having a few hours surf, specially if you are kind of local, so you can go there often. Expect no epic waves, but some fun with longish boards. I would say the high tide is the best.”
