Las Gaviotas Surf Guide

Las Gaviotas in Baja Norte is an exposed reef break that has reliable surf. Autumn and winter are the favoured times of year for waves. Offshore winds blow from the northeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the west. There are left and right breaking reefs. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It very rarely gets crowded here. Beware of urchins, rocks and private access.
