“Surfed here for 40 yrs ,amazing memories of camaraderie, great laughs seeing Tony sucked back over the falls, broken 2 boards here . Still going but now body boarding due to back problem. Saughter and Beth learning to surf. Camping for whole summer at Nant y big . Legend.waves.”

“Porth Ceiriad is a very good spot when it's on with an amazing backdrop and beach. Can be extremely heavy and hollow when big and I've witnessed numerous boards being snapped here. Not usually a place for novice surfers as it will punish if mistakes are made. I'd say confident surfers only, for safety... There are other more forgiving beaches in the area like Porth Neigwl that offer great beginner rides.”
