Point in Jeffreys Bay Coast is a sheltered reef and point break that has consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the southwest. Groundswells are more common than windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the south southwest. Sometimes crowded. Watch out for sharks and rocks.

“Point has become a CIRCUS - every beginner tries to learn at this spot - this break is not suited to beginners - intermediate yes but stay away - surf your own spots - locals are not respected - men hassling our local boys and girls - these people have no idea about any sort of rules - surf etiquette does not exist. Locals Rule stay away as you have no manners.”
