Visitor reviews of Pacifico surf break
(NOTE: Reviews may be edited by our content team for the purposes of ensuring accurate and relevant information)
“Pacifico can have good surf the right time of year but can be fickle. The locals are mostly good people and if you have a good friendly attitude and try and help out some less fortunate locals you will be treated with respect and trust. Of coarse someone may be trying to get a little extra from you but hey, remind yourself that we live in another world of more opportunities and if you rock up showing off your money or look down on them of coarse you are going to be treated different. Be humble and try help the villages with rubbish or schooling etc. and you will have a rewarding time. The locals now are doing quite well from eco-tourism and the village is much better organised now than 10 years ago thanx to tourism and the government realising the potential of the area.what worries me is once it gets to G.L. situation it becomes a rat-race not a relaxing holiday so hope pacifico never becomes "over-cooked" Remember when you visit Siargao it's not all about you, try and put yourself in their shoes(or slippers)!”

“Don't go to Pacifico unless you are very careful even so you could still end up in big trouble.
The law there is so corrupt you could easily end up in jail for something you did not do.
The court system is corrupt and the people there are always thinking of ways to cheat you out of as much money as they can.”
