Northern Rights Surf Guide

Northern Rights in Sumbawa is a reasonably exposed reef and point break that has unreliable waves. Nov-April (Wet Season) provides favoured time of year for waves. Works best in offshore winds from the north northeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south. There is a right hand reef break. Best around mid tide. Rarely crowded here. Take care of rocks in the line up.
