Raglan - Ngarunui Beach Surf Guide

Raglan - Ngarunui Beach in Raglan and West Waikato is an exposed beach break that has very reliable surf and works all around the year. Works best in offshore winds from the east southeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the best swell direction is from the west southwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. The crowds in the water make a gath helmet a good idea.
