“Surfed Morro for years, great rights and lefts. On bigger days stay clear of the lineups which are crowded. There are competent surfers along the spot, Morro can hold a crowded lineup. 40 yards right of the rock is good to start, further left about 60 yards is another takeoff usually crowded with shorter thruster boards. Big, cold water, sharks in the area, use discretion out there...dont surf alone stay within 20 feet of other surfers. Birds flying around a specific spot circling indicate a feeding so beware.”
