Monument Surf Guide

Monument in Eyre Peninsula is an exposed point break that only works when conditions are just right. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the east northeast with some shelter here from northwest winds. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the optimum swell angle is from the southwest. There is no point break and there is a right hand reef break as well. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Watch out for rocks, sharks.
