Visitor reviews of Mckenzies Beach surf break
(NOTE: Reviews may be edited by our content team for the purposes of ensuring accurate and relevant information)
“So much misinformation regarding this far south coast jem, it’s easily one of the best, most consistent spots on the eurobodalla coast. Works year round on a variety of conditions including SE & NE swell directions & all cross-off/off shore plus even light northerly on-shore winds. Multiple take off zone opportunities with both lefts & rights on offer. Suitable for beginner to expert level surfers with amateur level shore-break roll ins to heaving barrels simulatanously on offer. The predominant hazard here stemming from a blatant disregard of etiqutte amongst surfers here rather than rarely unmanageable conditions, likely due a mixture of skilled local & visiting amateur/beginner surfers from the mainland during the summer holiday period. Otherwise a uncrowded lineup by general standards (as with the majority all far south coast spots) & easy to find with ample parking & direct beach access.”
