“I have to question how accurate or up to date some of the ratings for Manorbier are.
Water quality: The water quality is consistently excellent, being sweet and clear in shore and off shore year round. Easily a 4 star rating
Other Options: Manorbier is South South West facing and the remaining local beaches - Freshwater East, Shrinkle, Stackpole, Newgale, Freshwater West offer everything from West, North West to North facing beaches within 7 miles drive - this has to be a 4 star rating.
Thanks
John
[Editor's comments. Thanks John, I fully agree with what you have written but these ratings were based on just 2 user votes. I have surfed Manorbier several times and the only pollution is the noise pollution when the missile range is firing. As for other options, yes, I agree that there are all kinds of aspects locally, but most, like Freshwater East and Tenby need a solid winter swell to work, and for northwest facing breaks, it is a 1hr drive to the nearest North Pembrokeshire]”
