Malabar in Sydney South is an exposed reef break that usually has waves. The best time of year for waves is autumn. The best wind direction is from the southwest. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the optimum swell angle is from the east northeast. A right hand reef. Good surf at all stages of the tide. A fairly popluar wave that can sometimes get crowded Beware of urchins, rips, rocks, crowds and pollution.
