Los Frailes in Baja Sur is a quite exposed reef break that has pretty consitent surf. Autumn and winter are the optimum times of year for waves. The best wind direction is from the west northwest with some shelter here from north winds. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southeast.. Rarely crowded here. Watch out for sharks.
