Los Charcos (Costa-Teguise) in Lanzarote is an exposed beach and reef break that only works when conditions are just right. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Works best in offshore winds from the northwest with some shelter here from north winds. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the northeast. There is no beach break and there is a left hand point break too. Sometimes crowded. Take care of rocks in the line up.
