Las Tunas Surf Guide

Las Tunas in Manabi is an exposed beach and reef break that has fairly consistent surf. Autumn and winter are the favoured times of year for waves. The best wind direction is from the east northeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves and there is a left hand reef break as well. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Beware of rips, rocks.
