La Siesta in Valencia is an exposed reef break that has unreliable waves. Summer in particular tends to be flat. The best wind direction is from the west with some shelter here from northeast winds. Usually gets local windswells, but groundswells do happen and the optimum wave angle is from the east southeast. No reef break here. Good surf at all stages of the tide.
