Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell direction is from the west. It's often crowded here. Watch out for - Urchins - Localism - Sharks.

“This is a great place to surf or body board when the waves are big. Tikis can hold a big wave and only closes out on huge days. It does not barrel unless the waves are above 6-7 feet. Personally I have never hit bottom, but you do have to worry about the shoreline in front of where the wave starts to break as it is jagged rock about 50 feet in.”
