Koeel Bay Surf Photo: 'thick' by Charl de Waal

Koeelbay is one of the heavies beachbreaks in South Africa. It is super powerfull and the lip is thick. It aslo picks up tons of swell. On big days it can be deadly. Here is a photo of a medium day, taken from the top of the cliff.
