“I am from Puerto Rico, although I currently live in the united states. I have surfed this spot (and many others) countless times. Have you ever wanted a surf spot with an escaltor back to the line up? Well look no further, this spot has a circular pattern current that goes east to west at the line up, stretching the right hand waves for longer rides, and it has a west to east current parallel to the shoreline that takes you right back up to the line up. This makes your paddle back up to the line up twice as fast if you choose this longer route. It takes swells from any direction and works best head high to a couple of feet over head high. Any more than that and it gets overloaded. (The first three pictures here show the spot over loaded, the fourth picture shows it flat but the guy knows what he is talking about). The wave starts right next to the rock, literally. It offers a nice drop that must be manuvered carefully or it will leave you behind, then it reforms into a long wall with plenty of room to show your skills. The longer the ride the more advantageous it is to paddle back along the shoreline. Just giving you a local tip. Best from Sep threw Mar. Sure to score Nov threw Feb.”
