“This beach is beautiful, mostly in the off-seasons when beach-goers aren't there trashing it. People suck, for those of you complaining about trash bring a bag next time and clean some up, or is that below you?”

“Quit bitchin' 'bout seaweed..it's a healthy ecosystem with Osprey and Eagle nests, lot's of tropical fish when summer current comes inshore. Horseneck is pop up peaks with nothing to write home about. The good surf is fast-rolling right on east side of breachway w/ strong s/se swell and w wind; further east is mysto west-facing reefbreak outside of S. Dartmouth needing e winds or glass! Access from Lloyd Demsarest park and mile paddle or boat from Westport River harbor. The biggest wave rideable on ALL the east coast is 1 mile west of here, Breyton Point in all it's glory...You can catch a rare big S/SE peak outside in Massachusetts and Uluwatu-style barrel all the way to Little Compton in Rhode Island! When 2-4', lot's of protruding rocks, but fun right SW longboard sliders................access.impossible with gay beach club patrons chasing away victims or 1 mi walk from Goosewing.”

“Worst state beach that I have ever been to. Dirty, with no trash barrels, rocky to the point of injury, water is filled with seaweed awful facilities, dirty and smelly. Concession stand is an old food truck. Pathetic.”

“I was stunned today when I started walking along the shoreline at Horseneck Beach. There were mounds of dark seaweed stretching as far as I could see. Mixed up in the seaweed was garbage of all types and sizes. It was disgusting. Why isn’t there a team of people responsible for keeping this beach clean? I have been walking this beach for over ten years and must say it is totally gross and worse than it’s ever been. It really made me sick so I turned around and went home.”
