“Fairly consistent break but Philippine surf breaks are a lot different to breaks in Australia. Often has a backwash making for some difficulty paddling into a wave as you think you have it and the backwash pops you off the back. They often break suddenly, or peak for a long way before this. Have had very few days with no sweep. There are some very shallow banks and getting swept into the impact zone is not much fun and more often results in a horrible pounding. IF you can stay on a peak with no sweep then it's really top quality. Seen it pumping out perfect spitting A-frames but impossible to sit on the spot or catch a wave and paddle back around to the zone. Has huge potential if everything aligns perfectly, but if it doesn't, wellllll...it's a pretty frustrating break.”
