Fuengirola in Andalucia is an exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Offshore winds blow from the west northwest and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Short period wind swells are the rule and the best wave direction is from the east southeast. The beach break provides left and right handers. Good surf at all stages of the tide. A fairly popluar wave that can sometimes get crowded Hazards include rips and rocks.
