“I am from PR although I live in the US now. I have surfed this spot many times. This spot is part of "El Escambron" Beach. It breaks far off shore so you have a long paddle to the peak. Looking from the shore it is the waves toward the left of the rock outcrop. the wave is mostly a long right. The spot can handle big overhead surf. A lot of long boarders like this place because the wave is kind of easy despite it getting big. Side shore winds keeps the spot workable even when its blowing, and it easily gets off shore winds with a slight change to a more easterly wind direction (which happens often). The left peak is a lot shorter but it packs a punch with a steep drop and a smackable lip. Parking is at the Escamborn parking area. Pay the parking! it is worth it. There are also beach showers, so you can clean up the salt water on you.”
