Cordoama Surf Guide

Cordama in South Portugal is an exposed beach break that has reliable surf. The best time of year for waves is autumn. Offshore winds blow from the southeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the northwest. The beach break provides left and right handers. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Watch out for rocks / rips.

“Maybe the best beach in the area - picturesque background with stunning views from the cliffs.

If the main peak right in front of the car park is too packed there are plenty of options down or up the beach to choose from.

Starts working with small swells. Best with no wind or offshore from SE. Does not really work on low tide - best from mid to high.”
