Visitor reviews of Coneeleys Reef surf break
(NOTE: Reviews may be edited by our content team for the purposes of ensuring accurate and relevant information)
“The right is a very hollow and challenging rock-ledge, featuring a steep and sucky takeoff close to and in front of an exposed rock platform.
The left is best suited to boogie boards. What starts off as a perfect ledgy wall moves in onto the inside section where the wave becomes very hollow. The rider becomes locked in as the wave picks up speed before running out of water on dry rock...
The right is also good in SW winds and favours a long period groundswell from ENE to SE. On High tide the takeoff tends to be too close to the exposed ledge.”
