Chacarita in Golfo de Nicoya is a reasonably exposed beach break that only works once in a while with no particular seasonal pattern. Works best in offshore winds from the north northeast and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Clean groundswells prevail and the optimum swell angle is from the south southwest. The beach break provides left and right handers. Best around high tide. Rarely crowded here. Beware of rips and polluition.
