“I talked with some dried up old surf bums here and they say that Bert's Bar was for real before Hugo. After Hugo it's not. It never is good. I've been out for many different sizes of swell when surf-forecast.com rates it as 3 stars or better and it is never good. Not at high tide and not at low tide. It is not a surf spot. Maybe another hurricane will change it but since Hugo it has not been a break.”

“You actually can catch some waves here if you paddlesurf. Station 24-26 can at times provide small buy very long rides. Normal surfing not so much.”

“This place should be removed. I've never seen any waves here that could be ridden. IOP and Folly/Washout are much better. Has anyone ever had success and surfed here?”
