“I talked with some dried up old surf bums here and they say that Bert's Bar was for real before Hugo. After Hugo it's not. It never is good. I've been out for many different sizes of swell when surf-forecast.com rates it as 3 stars or better and it is never good. Not at high tide and not at low tide. It is not a surf spot. Maybe another hurricane will change it but since Hugo it has not been a break.”
