Avalon Point in Perth City Coast is a fairly exposed point break that has fairly consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the east southeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the optimum swell angle is from the west southwest. No point break here. It's often crowded here. Watch out for - Urchins - Sharks.

“Surfed Avalon Point at 3 to 4ft this morning, on a 5'10 single fin.
Long mellow left hander for big drawn out carving turns. Think I may have got it in perfect conditions, as it was totally epic. there was also one or two fast hollow and heavy right handers..locals were cool, just respect the rules!!!”
