Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the west southwest. No point break here. Often Crowded. Beware of - Urchins - Sharks.

“Surfed Avalon Point at 3 to 4ft this morning, on a 5'10 single fin.
Long mellow left hander for big drawn out carving turns. Think I may have got it in perfect conditions, as it was totally epic. there was also one or two fast hollow and heavy right handers..locals were cool, just respect the rules!!!”
