Visitor reviews of Atlantic Beach surf break
(NOTE: Reviews may be edited by our content team for the purposes of ensuring accurate and relevant information)
“I've been going to Atlantic Beach for 10+ years and the waves may not always be great, but there are days where sand bars develop often to create nice 4-6ft waves 100 yards or so away from shore. I've caught plenty that would carry me almost 100 yards. The other reviewer must not have gone there too often because only on some occasions the waves will be breaking too close to surf. On another note, it is a nice place to lounge about enjoying the sun and water.”

“Atlantic beach has some unpleasant aspects like the waves tend to break very close to shore so it is hard to get a nice long ride on them. Also there are a lot of novices and bodyboarders who hang around there.”
