Anse Cocos in La Digue is a reasonably exposed beach and point break that has fairly consistent surf. May-Oct (Dry Season) is the best time of year for waves. Ideal winds are from the northeast with some shelter here from southwest winds. Groundswells and windswells are equally likely and the best swell direction is from the south southwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Watch out for - Rocks, rips.
