Queensland North Coast Surf Forecast map for predicting the best wave and wind conditions across the region. For surfers, the map shows the most powerful swell tracking across near-shore open water and not the peak waves experienced by boats out at sea. Move your mouse over the ocean swell symbols or the surf breaks on the coastline to see a more detailed surf forecast including wave period and wind conditions. The forecast updates every 6 hours and most live weather reports update every hour. You can animate the Queensland North Coast Surf map or show live wind and wave conditions as reported from wavebuoys and local weather stations. Surf breaks shown along the Queensland North Coast coastline are also listed below.

Queensland North Coast Surf Breaks

As you head North along this pristine stretch of coastline you start to experience the more wildside of beaches yet with a stretch of towns that cater for all travelers. With less crowds to contend with in comparison to further south these beaches still rally busy and have ahigh level of competition. The swell can really a be friend in this part of the country. Warm waters means happy surfing almost all year round only having to put a springer on in the winter months.
