Jersey Surf Forecast map for predicting the best wave and wind conditions across the region. For surfers, the map shows the most powerful swell tracking across near-shore open water and not the peak waves experienced by boats out at sea. Move your mouse over the ocean swell symbols or the surf breaks on the coastline to see a more detailed surf forecast including wave period and wind conditions. The forecast updates every 6 hours and most live weather reports update every hour. You can animate the Jersey Surf map or show live wind and wave conditions as reported from wavebuoys and local weather stations. Surf breaks shown along the Jersey coastline are also listed below.

Jersey Surf Breaks

Jersey is home to one of the oldest surf clubs and therefor always crowded at the best spots. Predominantly sandy breaks with a few reefs here and there. The west coast of the island hosts a few decent spots that on their day can really go off. With easy access to most breaks and plenty of places to sleep, eat and park, Jersey is a great place to get around. The locals can be quite territorial so respect the local surfing etiquette. Few breaks like Greve De Lacq will only work a few times a year due to the huge 11 meter tides that jersey gets. Stinky bay gets it's name form the rotting seaweed you can smell when you're paddling out. Corbiere reef has only been surfed a few times by locals, so unless you're on a specific mission to surf it, it might be best to give it a miss. A good break to note is Watersplash, if there's no surf here, it's flat everywhere on the island. Plemont can be a great choice if it's going off, but be prepared for crowds.
