New to surfing so unsure what description to give. s Small narrow beach with surf waves a lot but winter months surf too big a lot of the time to surf.

I first surfed here probably 20 years ago or more. Steeply shelving beach, fast breaking wave. Catches lots of swell and can be sheltered from wind by surrounding orography. Can have a nice little left and/or right peeling off either side of the beach but can very often be a massive close out. In this photo the waves look deceptively small, the road at this point is a long way above sea level as the road here snakes its way up and around the mountain on the way to Carrick.
