Visitor reviews of Zion surf break
(NOTE: Reviews may be edited by our content team for the purposes of ensuring accurate and relevant information)
“Six good breaks within a 5-mile drive. This classic surf area was first ridden in the very early sixties by Zion's "DUNES BEACH SURF CLUB". Points, coves, bays, and even a reef, groom north swells. The Cove is a protected spot that has a gradual sandy beach good for beginners. Balls Reef breaks only on the biggest swells of the year. Other spots include Logan, The Lodge, Pookie's, The Cape, and Juicy Hole. Can be ridden most of the year, best from mid-summer to late autumn.”
