“This is a great break when it works, which is rare. Needs big south swell NE winds falling tide. Long ride over boulders which are ships ballast from the early settlers days. Beware of very strong rips when the tide gets running. You cant paddle against the current. Map is incorrect Yacaaba Head is actually Port Stephens North Headland. Location really is Hawkes Nest.”
