Y-Steps Surf Guide

Y-Steps in Adelaide is a fairly exposed beach break that has quite reliable surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the east northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the optimum swell angle is from the southwest. The beach break provides left and right handers. Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. Sometimes crowded. Beware of rocks, and rips.
